Why Attend a La Leche League Conference?
Professions routinely sponsor conferences at which participants can learn from each other as well as from experts. Conference attendees network, share experiences and gain new ideas for tackling their day- to-day concerns. Parenting is our most important profession and well worthy of a conference too!
Every spring, LLL of Massachusetts/Rhode Island/Vermont hosts a conference designed specifically for parents: from those who are still navigating breastfeeding to those who are exploring the later years of childhood. LLL conferences are not just for LLL Leaders or breastfeeding mothers; the halls are filled with babies, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and older children. The playroom resounds with laughter and toddlers play happily on the floor in session rooms.
Our conference is designed for families in various stages of the parenting journey. We have sessions to introduce different parenting topics for both mothers and fathers, introduce leadership opportunities to mothers who are interested in becoming LLL Leaders, and provide up-to-date breastfeeding information and research to Leaders and healthcare professionals.
